We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Acoustic Engineer to join our innovative research and development team in Barcelona. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, simulation, testing, and optimization of acoustic components and systems for our next-generation audio products. This role requires a strong theoretical understanding of acoustics, excellent practical skills in experimental setup and data analysis, and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively in English within an international team environment.
Responsabilidades Clave
- Design and develop acoustic components and systems for various audio products, including headphones, microphones, and loudspeakers.
- Conduct acoustic simulations using finite element analysis (FEA) and boundary element method (BEM) software.
- Set up and perform comprehensive acoustic measurements in an anechoic chamber and other specialized facilities.
- Analyze acoustic data, interpret results, and provide clear, actionable recommendations for product improvement.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and industrial design engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the development of new acoustic measurement techniques and experimental methodologies.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in acoustic engineering and audio technology.
Habilidades Requeridas
- Master's degree in Acoustics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in acoustic simulation software (e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS, or similar).
- Demonstrated experience with acoustic measurement equipment and techniques (e.g., Brüel & Kjær, Audio Precision).
- Strong understanding of signal processing and data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python).
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, to facilitate international collaboration.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a meticulous approach to experimental design and data interpretation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced R&D environment.
Cualificaciones Preferidas
- Ph.D. in Acoustics or a related discipline.
- Experience with active noise cancellation (ANC) technologies.
- Familiarity with transducer design and electro-acoustic principles.
- Knowledge of material science related to acoustic applications.
- Previous experience in the consumer electronics or professional audio industry.
- Proficiency in Spanish or German is a plus.
