We are seeking a talented and dedicated Audio Visual (AV) Technician to join our dynamic events team in Chueca, Madrid. As an AV Technician, you will be instrumental in the setup, operation, and teardown of audiovisual equipment for a variety of events. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure all AV aspects of an event run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Set up, operate, and dismantle professional audio, video, lighting, and presentation equipment for events.
• Conduct pre-event checks and calibration of all AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively during live events.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and presenters.
• Maintain and repair AV equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
• Collaborate with event managers, clients, and other vendors to understand event requirements and deliver solutions.
• Adhere to safety standards and best practices for equipment handling and event production.
• Assist in inventory management and proper storage of AV assets.
• Continuously update knowledge on new AV technologies and trends.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an AV Technician in a live event or corporate setting.
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting sound systems (mixers, microphones, speakers).
• Strong understanding of video production and display technologies (projectors, LED walls, cameras).
• Familiarity with lighting systems and control consoles.
• Ability to read and interpret AV schematics and technical diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 25 kg).
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, Dante Level 1/2).
• Experience with event management software or AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron).
• Knowledge of IT networking principles as they relate to AV systems.
• Formal education in audiovisual technology, electronics, or a related field.
