We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team in Melilla. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for woodworking, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires proficiency in English to communicate effectively with a diverse client base and interpret international design specifications. You will be responsible for crafting bespoke cabinetry and furniture, from initial design interpretation to final installation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision. This is an on-site position located in our Melilla workshop.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design specifications to create custom cabinets and furniture.
• Select and prepare appropriate wood and other materials, including cutting, shaping, and sanding.
• Assemble components using various woodworking techniques, including joinery, laminating, and veneering.
• Operate and maintain a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
• Install finished cabinets and fixtures on-site, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
• Perform quality checks on all finished products to ensure they meet company standards and client expectations.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively in English with team members and clients.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar woodworking role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Expertise in operating woodworking machinery (e.g., table saws, routers, planers, jointers).
• Strong knowledge of various wood types, materials, and their properties.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform precise measurements and calculations.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Vocational training or certification in cabinet making, carpentry, or a related field.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software for woodworking.
• Knowledge of finishing techniques (staining, painting, varnishing).
• Ability to work with unconventional materials (e.g., metal, glass, composites).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites for installations.
