We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter / Joiner to join our dynamic construction team in Benalmádena. The successful candidate will be instrumental in a variety of construction projects, performing intricate carpentry and joinery tasks. This role requires a keen eye for detail, precision craftsmanship, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. You will work on diverse projects ranging from structural framing to finish carpentry, contributing to the successful completion of high-profile developments.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications.
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim.
• Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Inspect and repair damaged wooden structures and fixtures.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies on construction sites.
• Collaborate with other team members, supervisors, and contractors to ensure project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or Joiner.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools common in carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
• Solid knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
• Excellent physical condition and stamina.
• Attention to detail and precision in work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Formal apprenticeship or vocational training in carpentry.
• Experience with various types of wood and composite materials.
• Knowledge of Spanish building codes and regulations.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Certification in construction safety (e.g., OSHA, local equivalent).
