Join Meliá Hotels International in Denia as our dedicated Facilities Manager. We are seeking a proactive and experienced individual fluent in English to oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of our hotel facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring a safe, comfortable, and visually appealing environment for our guests and staff, adhering to the highest standards of quality and sustainability. You will manage a team, coordinate with external vendors, and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of all hotel facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural elements.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
• Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, services, and new installations, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure all facilities comply with local health, safety, and environmental regulations and Meliá Hotels International standards.
• Manage the departmental budget, track expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings and energy efficiency.
• Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and guest requests, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or similar role, preferably in the hospitality sector.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal) is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, etc.).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in facility management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Spanish or other languages.
• Certifications in specific technical trades or facility management (e.g., CFM).
• Experience with sustainable facility management practices.
