We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard / Pool Attendant to join our dynamic team at our luxury resort in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests at all pool facilities. You will be responsible for observing swimmers, enforcing safety regulations, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a clean and orderly pool environment. Responsabilidades Clave

• Monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety at all times.
• Enforce all pool rules and regulations fairly and consistently.
• Perform rescue operations and administer first aid/CPR when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool deck, changing rooms, and surrounding areas.
• Regularly check water chemistry and ensure proper pool maintenance.
• Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or incidents to management.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting guests with inquiries and needs.
• Participate in regular in-service training and emergency drills.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Valid Lifeguard certification (e.g., STA, RLSS, Red Cross, or equivalent).
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
• Strong swimming abilities and physical fitness.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Previous experience as a Lifeguard or Pool Attendant in a resort or hotel setting.
• Knowledge of pool maintenance and water chemistry.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English (additional languages a plus).
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
