Acciona is seeking a highly motivated and experienced MEP Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Donostia-San Sebastián, Basque Country. This on-site role is crucial for ensuring the efficient integration and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems within our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all MEP aspects from design review to project completion, ensuring compliance with specifications, budget, and schedule. Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement for this international-facing role, facilitating communication with a diverse team and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Coordinate all MEP activities with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors.
• Review MEP design drawings and specifications for constructability, compliance, and clash detection.
• Monitor and inspect MEP installations regularly to ensure quality, adherence to plans, and industry standards.
• Identify and proactively resolve MEP-related issues, conflicts, and discrepancies during the construction phase.
• Manage MEP submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and change orders efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure all MEP work complies with relevant local and international codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare comprehensive progress reports and communicate status updates to all relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate coordination meetings, document discussions, and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Assist in the commissioning and handover process for MEP systems.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven experience as an MEP Coordinator or a similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems and their integration.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, MS Project).
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal, for effective international communication.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
• Experience with sustainable building practices and certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM).
• Working knowledge of Spanish or Basque is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the Basque Country.
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodologies.
