We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychotherapist / Counselor to join our esteemed mental health team in Vilanova i la Geltrú. This pivotal role involves providing high-quality therapeutic services to English-speaking expatriate patients, addressing their unique challenges related to cultural adaptation, relocation stress, identity, and personal well-being while living abroad. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds and be adept at various therapeutic modalities to support our international patient community.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Conduct initial assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling to English-speaking expat patients.
• Address issues such as anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, grief, relationship challenges, and cultural integration.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and professional development activities.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards of practice.
• Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families when appropriate.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Valid professional license/registration to practice as a Psychotherapist/Counselor in Spain (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in psychotherapy or counseling.
• Fluent in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience working with expatriate communities or individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic, ACT, Person-Centered).
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from different walks of life.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Proficiency in Spanish or Catalan is a significant advantage.
• Experience working in an international clinical setting.
