We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Salou, Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes meet stringent internal and international standards. This role requires strong communication skills in English to collaborate with diverse teams and contribute to our global quality initiatives. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards across all stages of production, from raw materials to finished goods, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust QA/QC procedures and standards in alignment with company policies and industry regulations (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Monitor manufacturing processes, identify potential quality issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Document and report all quality control activities, results, and non-conformances, ensuring accurate record-keeping and traceability.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related problems and improve product quality and process efficiency.
• Train and mentor production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
• Participate in root cause analysis for quality failures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare comprehensive quality reports and presentations for management and stakeholders, communicating findings clearly and concisely in English.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the QA/QC department.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Solid understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and standards, especially ISO 9001.
• Proficiency in quality control methodologies, statistical process control (SPC), and problem-solving tools (e.g., FMEA, 8D, Lean Six Sigma).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Certifications in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt).
• Experience in the chemical manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of Spanish or Catalan is a plus.
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or similar QC software.
