We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Remote Scrum Master to join our dynamic and distributed team. This is a 100% remote position, requiring strong English communication skills. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating agile processes, removing impediments, and fostering an environment of continuous improvement for multiple Scrum teams. You will play a crucial role in coaching team members, product owners, and stakeholders on Scrum principles and practices to maximize team efficiency and product delivery. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, a servant-leader mindset, and a proven track record of successful Scrum implementations.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings.
• Coach the development team in self-organization and cross-functionality.
• Help the Product Owner in their efforts to manage the backlog and define a clear product vision.
• Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove them.
• Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
• Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
• Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
• Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• Knowledge of numerous well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (e.g., numerous Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, handling bugs).
• Experience with widely used Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
• Knowledge of other Agile approaches like Kanban, XP, SAFe.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
