We are seeking a diligent and physically fit Shipping Container Lumper to join our logistics team in Adeje, Tenerife. This demanding but rewarding role involves the manual loading and unloading of shipping containers, ensuring efficient and safe movement of goods within our distribution center. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of safety and operational efficiency. This is an on-site position requiring consistent physical presence.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Manually load and unload freight from shipping containers, trailers, and other vehicles.
• Sort, stack, and organize merchandise onto pallets or into designated storage areas.
• Operate manual pallet jacks and other non-motorized equipment as needed.
• Verify quantities and report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, particularly regarding heavy lifting and material handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects regularly (up to 50 lbs or 23 kg).
• Strong physical stamina and endurance.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
