We are seeking an energetic and certified Surf Instructor / Watersports Guide to join our vibrant team at Purobeach Estepona. This beachfront role offers an incredible opportunity to work directly on the beautiful Costa del Sol, guiding guests through exhilarating watersports experiences, primarily surfing, paddleboarding, and kayaking. You will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction, ensuring participant safety, and fostering an enthusiastic and positive environment for all skill levels. Responsabilidades Clave

• Provide expert instruction in surfing, paddleboarding, and kayaking to guests of all ages and skill levels.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during watersports activities.
• Conduct safety briefings and demonstrations of equipment usage.
• Maintain and inspect watersports equipment, ensuring it is in excellent condition.
• Assist with equipment rental, setup, and storage.
• Promote a positive, encouraging, and fun learning environment.
• Monitor weather and ocean conditions to ensure safe operation of activities.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and administer first aid when necessary.
• Contribute to the overall guest experience, answering questions and providing local information.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety and guest service.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surf Instructor or Watersports Guide.
• Certified Surf Instructor (ISA Level 1 or equivalent) or relevant watersports certification.
• Strong swimming abilities and water safety knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Enthusiastic, patient, and professional demeanor.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Additional certifications in watersports (e.g., SUP instructor, kayak guide).
• Lifeguard certification (ILS or equivalent).
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Knowledge of local marine environment and conditions.
• Previous experience in a resort or hospitality environment.
