We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team in Palma de Mallorca. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for our guests and staff. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills, with a particular emphasis on English proficiency to manage international stakeholders and adhere to global standards.

Responsabilidades Clave

• Develop and implement comprehensive facility maintenance programs, including preventative and reactive maintenance schedules.
• Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety equipment.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized services, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Prepare, monitor, and manage the facilities budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring financial targets are met.
• Ensure compliance with all local, national, and company health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize disruption.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and expenditures using appropriate management systems.
• Implement and promote sustainable practices and energy-saving initiatives across all facilities.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure high standards of cleanliness and functionality.

Habilidades Requeridas

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, maintenance operations, and health and safety regulations.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
• Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Cualificaciones Preferidas

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFM, FMP).
• Experience with facility management software (CAFM systems).
• Additional language skills (e.g., Spanish, Catalan) are a plus.
• Knowledge of local Balearic Islands regulations and building codes.
